POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for recruitment of new employees in addition to providing support to the Human Resources departmental functions and duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.

  • Posting positions and organizing resumes and job applications.

  • Scheduling and interviewing viable candidates.

  • Provides a list of qualified candidates and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

  • Following up on the interview process status.

  • Preforming reference and background checks.

  • Sending out follow up letter.

  • Attend job fairs and career events, if needed.

  • Assists with new hire orientation to newly hired employees.

  • Assists associates with questions pertaining to company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures.

  • Assists with planning and implementing associate activities.

  • Assists with associate training and development.

  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.

  • Performs filing, copying and other clerical duties.

  • Assists staff as needed in a pleasant, professional and courteous manner.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a recruiter.

  • Experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks.

  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Positive outlook with good judgement.

  • Requires basic knowledge of computer programs and applications and the ability to operate all necessary office equipment.

  • One to two years of human resources experience required. One to two years of HR recruiting experience preferred.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Mental- Requires a high degree of concentration, discretion and independent judgement.

Physical- Requires walking/standing approximately 10% of time; sitting approximately 90% of time; lifting up to 25 lbs.

Environmental- Requires capability of performing essential job functions in an office environment with climate control and good lighting

Manual Dexterity- Requires ability to operate telephones, facsimile machines, computers and other general office equipment, to record written information and maintain files

Audible- Requires the ability to verbally communicate with employees, high-level officials and technical professionals in person and via telephone.

Visual- Requires the ability to operate complex office equipment including computers.
