Job Title Test Engineer

Responsible for the final test processes. Design, control, optimization, maintenance and calibration of assembly test equipment. Documentation of performance and reliability. Management of resources within area of responsibility. Ensure the productivity of the production lines is met or exceeded. Definition of new goals for the area of responsibility.
• Assure proper function of Test stations and equipment.
• Assure Safety and Quality procedures and methods are met.
• Develop, publish and maintain current specifications in regards to test processes.
• Provide training to all Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians in proper test equipment functions.
• Assure that spare test equipment is stocked to minimize downtime.
• Assist Technicians and Quality personnel in troubleshooting, calibration and repair of test equipment.
• Maintain or optimize test station programming.
• Establish and promote good working relationships with Technicians and Assemblers. Work closely with supervisors to improving performance and processes.
• Liaison between the local engineering community, central engineering and other Continental EBS locations.
Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline
2 years experience in a testing or manufacturing position with similar responsibilities
Advanced understanding, diagnose and design of Electromechanic, pneumatics/hydraulics, within area of responsibility.
Ability to work under pressure
Computer skills (basic MS Office, general knowledge in PLC programming,

Experience in a high volume Automotive manufacturing environment
